Refractory Period

Hoo boy! Playoff wins are very, very nice. The boys discuss a comprehensive (if a bit nerve-wracking) victory over the CRapids [7:02]. They also discuss the teams (new?) identity [38:15] and then cream our jeans over a possible Ramirez return [1:01:54] (Just imagine a Ramirez, Molino, Reynoso, Lod attack! See you just also orgasmed!)

Finally MLS is Bonkers [1:14:55] and some sexy European action [1:50:14]

Don’t forget to join the patreon to get access to the supremely delicious Heath Out Stout beer!

Score or Die!

The boys either score or die! Or they discuss some Loons abroad [4:37], MJ spends ten minutes on our MPLS City minute [34:07], Zeller breaks down the Loons stakeholder call [50:47] and we discuss CRapids [1:02:25]. Also MJ tries to once again hijack a legitimate discussion about the best (most unattractive) footballer. [19:45] Fuck MJ!

The Full Freddy Adu

Two game week means we can mostly ignore the crap game [5:11] and praise the wonder that is Reynoso from the second game [13:42]. We have a brief (and hopefully final) discussion of Heath’s comments on Kallman’s action [43:52].

In the second half of the podcast we discuss the bonkers end of the Western Conference season with seemingly no one wanting to be the 5th seed and face the Loons in Saint Paul [1:02:01]. We discuss two questions 1) Is Reynoso the best signing in MNUFC history [1:11:49] and what is the biggest surprise, Atlanta missing the playoffs or both expansion teams making the playoffs [1:20:03]

Finally help Zeller pick a Liga Mx team!

New Guy Season Came Early

The guys chat with Minneapolis City’s own Adam Pribyl & Sarah Schreier about recent coaching hires and kits that are fire [35:15]. First, however they need to discuss a very drab win [4:05] and talk playoff seeding & new guyz! [23:05]

In the second half of the pod they discuss (theoretical) upcoming matches against the Fire [54:12] & FC Dallas [1:00:30]. Finally they wrap up with a little Europe [1:08:02]

Big Celery’s Big Right Foot

A match against Cincinnati means that we can record a podcast in less than an hour! We start by briefly recapping the FCC match and discuss Big Celery’s big right foot [3:25].

In our Big Questions segment, we ask has anyone been good since the MLS is Back tournament [13:53] (Spoiler Alert: Not really) and ask if it even matters if MNUFC hosts a playoff match [20:45].

Finally we preview the CRapids [42:28] and Sporks [51:58] matches.

I Don’t Like Making Excuses, Here’s My Excuse

The main crew is back this evening to discuss two, extremely depressing, dropped points versus Houston [3:15]. Then it’s on to the Big Questions! This week, the hell is going on with Kamara and how do we fix it [28:00] and, then it wouldn’t be the Daves if there weren’t multiple extended “discussions” about Heath including tactics and game planning [40:15]. They end the first half we some discussion on other United news [52:30].

In the second half of the podcast, MLS NEWZ! [100:33] including the Supporters Shield dramz and The Athletic’s recent article on MLS owners. They spend a little over five minutes discussing FCC [1:18:58] and end with the most recent Daves I Know Derby [1:24:01].

MJAnon Keyboard Warriors

Just MJ & Zeller this week, so lots of awkward pauses. We keep our word and spend less than 5 minutes discussing the shitty result at Nashville [4:40].

The guys also once again why Heath hates subs (and you fellow MNUFC fan) [12:40] as  well as Discovery Rights drama [23:09]. They also briefly touch on the shitshow that is RSL right now (always) [30:21].

Finally in the second half we give you your Minneapolis City Minute [44:49], preview our upcoming (theoretical) matches 51:04, and answer some questions on how best to unlock Kamara and good N/A beer [1:04:15].

This one was short and tight. Enjoy!

Heath is All Out of Toye’s

The boys mix things up and start with United news, recapping the Mason Toye move to Montreal [4:33], before discussing a boring-ass 2-0 victory over FCC [31:10].

The Big Questions this week concern Inchy’s use of subs [46:15] and a discussion of if the team is losing fans [56:24] (Spoiler Alert: Yes).

Then we discuss the recent events of the San Diego Loyal [1:14:49] and former Loon Collin Martin. Finally [1:31:57] a two-match week preview.

Horse Shit Prima Facie

Two match weeks are fun… until they are not. We briefly breakdown MNUFC’s one point week. First up [4:15] a dreadful performance in Columbus and then [16:49] dropped points at home to RSL.

Then Adrian Heath has some pretty stupid quotes [33:00] and we have some pretty harsh criticism for Inchy and we question what the hell is MNUFC’s offensive policy [47:20]?

We also briefly chat the rest of the Phase 2 schedule [1:02:30] and assess the Loons playoff odds before finally getting to FC Cincinnati [1:14:30] and their manager Vin Diesel Grant Wahl Jason Statham Jaap Stam (we think this is right).

Lights, Kamara, Action

Snatching a draw from the jaws of victory is classic Heath [5:17], the guys discuss the Jekyll and Hyde-ness of MNUFC and answer a couple of questions along with some choice words for our Freddy Adu’s [25:30].

Later they discuss if the style of MNUFC’s play is sustainable (spoiler alert: it’s probably not) and break out the Excuse-o-Meter for what excuses the team can use because the road vs home matches argument is getting stupid [47:35]

Finally, we discuss the roster moves [1:02:14], and briefly discuss our two-match week, at Columbus [1:22:40] & home vs RSL [1:34:24].
