Tee Shirts and Cocaine!

The gang is back together to discuss powder parties in Tonka, why a certain co-host might not have been getting the best toot back in the early 2000’s and why a Dave (we aren’t going to name them) should probably get their money back.

Oh yeah, some soccering happened too. Oh and there will be more soccering this week and Tee-shirts (maybe)!

Engaging with the Enemy

We bring on a very special guest to give us the lowdown on the Seattle Sounders, @CrazyCalico. She is a longtime Sounders fan, with roots dating back to the NASL days…

We also discuss the disappointing USMNT performances, some Loons abroad, Golden Gopher soccer, and Crows v Mingos!

Finally, we discuss the Sounders with an actual Sounders fan who knows more players than just the Roldan brothers. Spoiler Alert, Zeller is the only one who predicts victory!

The One Where Pork Chop Gets a Red

We’re back to discuss a terrible, maybe the most terrible, Loons loss of the year. We are light on Loon’s news, so we also remember a guy.

In the second half, lots of Minneapolis City news, we preview the only undefeated team in MLS and break down some World soccer (including the Gold Cup first matches, Copa America, & an English meltdown). Enjoy!

Just A Good Old Fashioned Western Conference Preview

The annual Daves I Know MLS Western Conference Preview Podcast (luckily no Eastern Conference this year!)

The guys only kinda break down all 12 non-MNUFC teams in the Western Conference.

First Half [8:15]: Houston Dynamo, Sporting KC, Vancouver Whitecaps, Seattle Sounders, Colorado Rapids, Portland Timbers, & Real Sal Lake

Second Half [41:15]: FC Dallas, San Jose Earthquakes, Austin FC, LAFC, & LA Galaxy. We also answer a couple of questions and give our definitive Western Conference end-of-year standings!

Baked Goods & Bad Takes

It’s finally here, an actual match week! But before we get to that we welcome Dark Clouds Silent Auction winner KJ. The guys start with some MNUFC news [6:15] before diving into our Loons Preview [14:15]. Instead of the traditional preview, we play a game of Over Unders and answer a couple of big questions. We end the first half of the podcast with some MLS news [1:04:45], including (the good) the hiring of Lucy Rushton in DC and (the bad) Sebastian Lletget.

After the break we get to Better Know a KJ [1:21:08], break down the match against Seattle on Friday [1:42:07] and discuss the return of NWSL [1:54:41].

It’s a long one we know, but hey, a lot of shit happened in the last week!

Where is the Hyphen Located

The boys get together for one last 2020 podcast (suck it 2020)! We briefly discuss the pantsing of Seattle by the Crew [4:42] before jumping into the end of year roster moves [7:15].

After that, we break down and grade the 2020 season (harder than you think) by general position [15:30]. We also discuss potential offseason moves and what we would do if we were running the team.

Finally, we discuss some general MLS news  [1:09:45] and thank our patrons! [1:29:06]

The Brian Schmetzer Orchestra

Man it sucks when the year is finally over. We discuss the Loons loss to the Sounders [5:45] and dive just a bit briefly into Adrian Heath and why he should be out [39:00].

Man, that #HeathOutStout beer is really good [1:06:30] and then we start to chat about next year and wether we would pick up options or try to re-sign players [1:07:52]. Finally we discuss the possibility of Will Trapp [1:14:22] and a bit of Europe.
